Quite an Accomplishment

So for the last 48 weeks Erin and I have been on the beginning leg of our life changing journey.  We are basically one month away from our year anniversary with this.  It has been amazing;  I have done things I never thought I'd be able to do.  I've hit so far two of my weight loss goals...Get back to wedding weight & and lose 75 total pounds...CHECK!  Got out of the size 40+ pants...CHECK!  Into single X size shirts...CHECK!  Completed a 30 mile bike ride...CHECK!  My next goal is to lose a total of 90 pounds and I am proud to say that, although I'm not there yet, as of this morning I have lost a total of 80 pounds!  E-I-G-H-T-Y pounds!  I can't believe it.  I am so extremely proud of myself that some days I just don't believe what I've done.  For almost a year I have stayed with my new lifestyle, kept off weight, lost a lot of it and learned a lot as well.

My 3rd weight loss goal is set to expire on July 31st...which is 2 days after my 34th (Walter Payton) birthday and gives me a full three months from now to lose those next 10 pounds.  At that point I will weigh 220 pounds, a number I think I'd have to call my old pediatrician to see the last time I weighed that LOL.  After that, who knows...maybe I'll go for an even century!  No matter what I am in better shape now then I think I've ever been.  My hockey game has gotten much better and I'm going to attempt a 60 mile bike ride by the end of the year.

Thanks to everyone for the support, the love, the questions, the inspiration...thanks for everything!  I won't let you down!  I can't wait to publish my 1 year anniversary post!
