Saturday Nights All Right For Fighting

Well not so much, because this incident happened on Wednesday night.  Anyway, it's been a while since I last wrote mostly due to a whole bunch of crap going on.  Some of it was my last post (took a lot to write that one) and with travels to Canada, the casino and other things, my blog took the back seat.  So back to this fighting thing...

As everyone knows we have been working out more and on Wednesday night after dinner Erin and I decided to do our own separate little workouts.  She was going to start the 28 day boot camp by Spark People and I was just going to do the Ab Ripper DVD from P90X.  So 5 minutes into everything we hear a "BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG"  on the front door.  Who is it but none other than our downstairs neighbor!  She's furious and yelling and winded and cursing up a storm about how we make her life a living hell with working out every once in a while.  Now keep in mind that most of the time I'm the one doing the working out more and that is only about 3 times MAYBE 4 times a week.  It is also 90% of the time done in our bedroom on the elliptical.  You know, the elliptical that our downstairs neighbor has said numerous times that she never hears!  She's out in our front foyer causing a scene and you know what this does to me...I get on the offense, and start getting angry, and mad and pissed off!  She states that for MONTHS, this has been bothering her, but she didn't want to intrude on our life because she knows we've been changing our lifestyle.  Now again, this is a woman who writes nonsensical notes about everything and posts them on our doors.  We have also seen her dozens and dozens of times with her never saying a word.  So how are we supposed to know that anything was wrong.  Needless to say I was rearing to go that night and it pretty much pissed me off to high holy hell!

So now that I can't actually live in my apartment anymore (we walk on eggshells up here as is, hardly ever invite people over) I have to re-work what I do for exercise.  Just another damn challenge in this lifestyle change!  Thursday I was pissed off and after dinner went for a walk down by the river in Shelton and even ran a bit too.  Two miles total (1.5 walk, .5 run) and a good way to clear my head and think about what I need to do now to move forward.  Friday morning I was energized and said I'm gonna get up and ride my bike.  Doing my little trip around Shelton 5.5 miles on the Derby Greenway started off my day great!

And now its the weekend...some more exercising, some good eats and a trip to SHU tomorrow for the Women's NEC Championship game.  GO HEART!  So with that I bid you adieu as I finish watching the Travel Chanels Top Ten Hawaii Beaches...oh I miss my honeymoon trip!  Two of the places that Erin and I went too were on this list.  Till next time...
