G'day Mate...a little bit of outback at home

Tonight at home it was Outback night...homemade that is!  In the event of not knowing what to make for dinner and having just some chicken in the fridge I decided to throw something together.  I really enjoy the Alice Springs Chicken at the Outback so I decided to make a spin of that.  I sauteed up some onions, seasoned some chicken breasts with a tequila lime seasoning and grilled them up.  I cooked up some of the turkey bacon that I had in the fridge and BAM...this dish was out of nowhere coming together.  A little hickory bbq sauce on the chicken, topped with the turkey bacon and onions then finished off with some melted cheese on top.  We had the chicken over some brown rice and a side salad.  Perfect dish!  Pretty quick once I figured out what to make LOL.

Other than that, not much else going on.  We had a hockey game the other night and tied.  Gave up a 4 goal lead in the 3rd period...the last one which went off the underarm of my jersey and past Mikey.  Still sorry about that Michael.  It was overall a good game I had a goal and an assist and played fairly well up until the 5th goal.  Next game is November 5th but I will be at the wedding of Theresa and David!  Good times will again definitely be had that night.

This weekend we celebrate Halloween...I'm super psyched about my Sons of Anarchy gear.  I have just a few more pieces to pick up and it will be done!  Pictures to come when it's all finished.  On that note, we'll make this one short...gotta do some pushups and crunches before bed.  Have a goodnight all!
