Who turned the heat up??

Holy crap, I might melt!  DAMN it is hot today; it was hot yesterday and its supposed to be hotter tomorrow.  I hate the hot, hot weather, hopefully this will pass soon.  So let's see the other day was weigh in day and I gave the update...but since I've hit a new number...and even though its not Tuesday...I will tell ya that as of Friday morning I am down 31 lbs!  Pretty fricken sweet after a few weekends that consisted of a wedding, a bachelor party and no hockey.  I'm pretty darn excited, what makes me even more excited is that Erin can really notice a difference in me.  Since its so blazing in our kitchen (the AC is on the other side of the place) cooking in there is a little insane, so today I didn't put a T-shirt on when I got home from work and have been walking around topless!  Yup, that's right...I'm topless as I write as well.  Hey a big man's, gotta do what he's gotta do to keep cool.  Erin was so cute saying "oh my god, your so skinny"...not really skinny, but skinnier then before.  It really feels good when I hear stuff like that.

This week/weekend is kinda crazy; getting back into the swing of things from being away, not really having time to pick out our weekly menu's so there won't be many food write ups since a lot of what we are cooking is just plain jane stuff.  Last night we did separate dinners, I had one of my omelets and Erin had a small sandwich with a salad.  The night before Erin wasn't feeling too good, so I just made a small NY strip with some veggies.  Tuesday we did shrimp lettuce wrap taco's with black beans (that was pretty awesome) and tonight I made Turkey burgers topped with some Fontina cheese, on wheat sandwich rounds with a side of sweet potato fries.  I added some diced onion and green pepper to mine.  Quick and yummy!

Tomorrow like I said earlier is gonna be another hot one...in the morning I'm going to try to do a bike ride, then I get to help Mike move out of his old place...and then we have a hockey game in what will surely be a big oven up in Plainville.  100+ degrees outside...prolly like 115 inside!  Not looking forward to that one.  And then another hockey game on Sunday.  I can also finally play again now that my suspension is up, which is very nice too.  Well everybody its time to get cool.  Be safe and stay cool people!  Till tomorrow...
